Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Subscription Model
xpos operates as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform offering SSH tunneling subscriptions. Paid plans (Pro and Business) are billed on a recurring basis — either monthly or yearly — and auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.
Payments are processed by our authorized payment processors. Depending on your region, the payment processor may act as the merchant of record for your transaction.
2. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard billing page or via the link in your payment confirmation email. When you cancel:
- Your cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will not be charged again.
- You continue to have access to all paid features until the end of your current billing period.
- After the billing period ends, your account will revert to the Free tier with corresponding limits.
- Reserved subdomains and custom domains exceeding Free tier limits will be released.
3. Refund Policy
You may request a full refund within 14 days of any payment, for any reason. No questions asked. Upon refund, access to paid features is revoked immediately.
Refund requests made after the 14-day window are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We will work with you to resolve the issue or process a refund where appropriate.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at [email protected] with the following information:
- Your account email address
- Transaction reference or payment ID
- Reason for the refund request
Refunds are processed using your original payment method. Processing times vary depending on your payment method and bank.
5. After a Refund
Upon receiving a refund:
- Your access to paid features will be revoked immediately.
- Your account will revert to the Free tier with corresponding limits.
- Reserved subdomains and custom domains exceeding Free tier limits will be released.
- Active tunnels exceeding Free tier limits will be disconnected.
6. Plan Changes
- Upgrades — when you upgrade your plan (e.g., Free → Pro, Pro → Business), the change takes effect immediately. You will be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your current billing period.
- Downgrades — when you downgrade your plan (e.g., Business → Pro), the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to higher-tier features until then.
7. Free Tier
The Anonymous and Registered Free tiers do not require payment and therefore are not subject to refund. You can use these tiers indefinitely at no cost, subject to their respective usage limits.
