1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using xpos.dev, xpos.to, or any related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Codes Easy, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This includes use of the Service without an account (anonymous SSH tunneling). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

xpos is an SSH tunneling service that allows you to expose local development servers to the internet through secure SSH connections. The Service operates across two domains:

• xpos.dev — dashboard, authentication, billing, and account management
• xpos.to — tunnel subdomains and SSH endpoint for tunneling connections

Users connect via standard SSH clients using the command: ssh -p 443 -R 0:127.0.0.1:8000 [email protected]. No additional software downloads are required.

3. Accounts & Authentication

The Service can be used anonymously without an account (subject to anonymous tier limits). To access additional features, you may create an account using email/password or Google OAuth.

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API tokens.
• You must not share API tokens or allow others to use your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account or API tokens.

4. Tiers & Pricing

The Service is available in the following tiers:

Pricing is subject to change. We will notify existing subscribers of any pricing changes before their next billing cycle.

5. Payment Terms

• Paid subscriptions are processed through our authorized payment processors. Depending on your region, the payment processor may act as the merchant of record for your transaction.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless cancelled.
• Currency (INR or USD) is automatically determined based on your IP address at the time of subscription and is locked for the duration of that subscription.
• All prices are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Where our payment processor acts as merchant of record, applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST may be calculated and collected by them.
• You authorize us (or our payment processor) to charge your selected payment method for recurring subscription fees.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard or via the link in your payment confirmation email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then.

You may request a full refund within 14 days of any payment, for any reason. Upon refund, access to paid features is revoked immediately.

7. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Host, distribute, or facilitate phishing websites or credential harvesting pages
• Distribute malware, viruses, ransomware, or any malicious software
• Host or distribute illegal content, including but not limited to content that violates intellectual property rights, child exploitation material, or content prohibited under applicable law
• Conduct or facilitate DDoS attacks, port scanning, brute-force attacks, or any form of network abuse
• Resell or redistribute the Service to third parties without our written consent
• Circumvent usage limits, rate limits, bandwidth restrictions, or any other technical controls
• Send spam or unsolicited communications through tunnels
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service
• Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful under applicable local, state, national, or international law

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service immediately and without notice for any violation of this Acceptable Use Policy.

8. Tunneled Content & Liability

xpos acts as a conduit for traffic between your local server and the internet. You are solely responsible for all content served through your tunnels, including but not limited to web pages, APIs, files, and any data transmitted.

• We do not generally monitor or filter the content passing through tunnels, except for abuse detection purposes. Pro and Business plan subscribers have access to a Request Inspection feature that records HTTP method, URL path, response status, response size, latency, and redacted request headers for up to 1 hour (limited to 50 entries per tunnel) to assist with debugging.
• You represent and warrant that your use of tunnels complies with all applicable laws and does not infringe on the rights of any third party.
• You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Codes Easy from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from content served through your tunnels.

9. Intellectual Property

• The xpos name, logo, and branding are trademarks of Codes Easy. You may not use them without our written permission.
• You retain all rights to the content you serve through your tunnels. We claim no ownership over your content.
• The Service software, design, and documentation are the intellectual property of Codes Easy and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided on a “best effort” basis.

• We may perform scheduled maintenance that temporarily affects availability.
• We are not liable for any downtime, interruptions, or data loss resulting from factors beyond our reasonable control.
• No formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) is provided unless separately agreed in writing.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Codes Easy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Codes Easy, its owner, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Content served through your tunnels or any activity conducted through your account
• Your violation of any rights of any third party

13. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your dashboard settings.
• We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
• Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Active tunnels will be disconnected, API tokens revoked, and reserved domains released.
• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kochi, Kerala, India.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” and may notify you via email or a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
